The New York Women’s Foundation is pleased to release The Economic Status of Women in New York State. The report, produced in partnership with the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, provides current data on women’s poverty, earnings, the wage gap, educational attainment, and other important economic indicators for New York women’s well-being. In our Statement and Recommendations, the Foundation shares its understanding of the report’s key findings and offers recommendations for public policy and philanthropy that will improve the economic status of women and the productivity of New York State.
