The New York Women’s Foundation® hosted a daylong workshop for young women from our grantee partner organizations to help build communication and networking skills. In this workshop, the young women learned to identify and overcome fears regarding networking, explore ways to successfully present themselves, and practice networking with peers and a group of professional women. Over 50 young women from all five boroughs and 12 women volunteers participated. Girls Inc. of New York City, a former NYWF® grantee partner, facilitated the workshop.
