This past November, we invited 10 of our grantee partners to partake in a policy discussion on Advancing Economic Justice for Women and Families in New York City at the Talking Transition tent. In a discussion moderated by Rossana Rosado, publisher and chief executive officer of El Diario-La Prensa, our grantees offered concrete policy proposals to build economically secure, safe and healthy lives for girls, women and gender non-conforming individuals. Check out this webpage for the event recap, along with a written report and video, which will be presented to the Mayor’s team as part of the Talking Transition deliverable in the coming weeks.Â
