The Foundation congratulates Senior Vice President of Programs & Strategic Learning Camille Emeagwali for her inclusion on City & State New York’s Responsible 100 Awards List honoring New Yorkers Invested in Improving Our Communities.
“We are proud that Camille has been recognized for her contributions to advancing gender equity and supporting communities,” said Ana L. Oliveira, President, and CEO of The New York Women’s Foundation.
Each year, City & State puts a spotlight on 100 exceptional individuals who are putting in the time and effort to assist vulnerable New Yorkers to overcome and tackle the myriad challenges that threaten our society. These individuals, drawn from business, government, nonprofit and advocacy leaders, display both the idealism that underpins the belief that change is possible and a realistic understanding of the dedication required to effectuate real and enduring change.
“I am thankful to City & State New York for this recognition, and congratulate fellow honorees for their contributions,” said Camille Emeagwali. “I am proud to have the opportunity through my work at The New York Women’s Foundation to make this vibrant and diverse city a better place for all individuals.”
