The New York Times article “Staying with Children and Out of Prison” reports on how our grantee partner, Housing + Solutions, helped launch a pilot program created by the office of the Brooklyn district attorney, Charles J. Hynes. Drew House is a residential alternative to incarceration, where mothers facing incarceration can live with their school’age children in a non–secured facility.
