Booth Delivers Bronx Sounds Under the Din
The Boogie Down Booth, which opened on Wednesday is the second installation of an initiative called Under the Elevated, which seeks to reclaim some of the space underneath New York City’s nearly 700 miles of elevated track. NYWF grantee partner, WHEDCo, helped to open the Boogie Down Booth as part of a larger revitalization of the South Bronx.

ABB Co-President Sherry Leiwant is going to Washington DC today to speak at a congressional briefing on the newly introduced Schedules That Work Act. Submitted today by Representatives George Miller (CA) and Rosa DeLauro (CT), the Schedules that Work Act would promote flexible workplaces and curb abusive scheduling practices that currently affect millions of U.S. workers.
